It appears things AREN’T ALL DOOM AND GLOOM for Taylor swift.
Yeah, there’s that whole being taken down by one of the most famous women in on the planet thing, the public embarrassment, and the fact that the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty was trending worldwide.
But can she really complain? Her BF has just won Rear of the Year 2016, so things are LOOKING UP.
Tom Hiddleston won the coveted award after he flashed his buns in BBC spy drama The Night Manager (we saw it, and can confirm he’s a worthy winner).
He beat off competition from Idris Elba, Andy Murray and Jamie Dornan!
If you’re wondering how the winners are chosen (and whether there is some sort of judging panel you can join), the public voted between July 2015 and June 2016. Tom racked up a massive 10,000 votes, so he’s pretty bloody worthy if you ask us.
We hope this will come as cheery news to Taylor Swift, who’s having a bit of a bloody nightmare at the moment. Just a few days ago her slayer Kim Kardashian was pictured partying with her ex Calvin Harris.
And the hope that she may had of getting her own back on Kim and Kanye West looks pretty bleak. It was reported that Tay Tay was planning on pursuing legal action, believing that she was recorded illegally in the tapes seemingly showing her giving permission for the lyrics about her in Kanye’s song Famous.
But then it was revealed by TMZ (of all people) that it actually probably wasn’t illegal at all – due to their being multiple participants in the conversation.
TMZ (who did some SERIOUS detective work, can we just say) claimed to have listened to the full tapes of the conversation. They said there is "no doubt" that Taylor was aware she wasn't the only one on the call, as other people speak during the convo.
We’re glad someone’s finally thrown Tay Tay a bone.
