Tom Hiddleston has doesn't care "what anyone else says" about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The actor was making an appearance at Comic Con in San Diego when he was asked about the increased attention surrounding his private life since he began dating the singer.
Tom said: "I don't know, it comes down to being authentic.
"Everything you do you have to make sure you truly believe in it and as long as you know that, it doesn't matter what anyone else says about it."
He added: "The nature of being a public figure is that everyone will have an opinion about anything you do, and as long as you know why you've done something and you've committed to it with authenticity then you're OK."
The star has previously dismissed speculation their relationship is a 'publicity stunt'.
Meanwhile, Tom's six-part BBC TV series 'The Night Manager' has earned 12 Emmy award nominations:”He told People magazine: "I'm so proud of 'The Night Manager' and the work everybody did in it.”
