It was recently revealed that a whole bunch of Towie stars had been axed from the show ahead of the new series for, frankly, being far too boring.
On that list of Essex guys and gals ditched for not pulling their weight in the dramz stakes were Chris Clark and Amber Dowding - who blamed their extit on being ‘too happy’ in their relationship.
However, it now seems the pair have been handed the serving of AGG they needed as they’ve reportedly now split after leaving the show.
Amber and Chris are said to have ‘drifted apart’ recently, never spending time with each other.
But their decision to part ways is reported to be ‘amicable’.
“They spent a lot of time together while filming Towie but now they’re not on the show they’ve spent less and less time with one another and they’ve drifted apart,” a source told The Sun.
Speaking more about Chris, the source added: “He's only 23 and has a lot of living to do, he wants to focus on his car business and other suitable TV work.”
The timing’s not exactly ideal, as Amber and Chris recently bought and moved in to their own house together.
“Chris and I are in a really good place. We all come to a time in our lives when you're looking for what is coming next,” Amber previously explained about leaving Towie.
She added: “There's nothing I won't NOT miss, but I'm looking forward to what's coming next.”
