The opening episode of The Only Way Is Marbs was uncomfortable viewing, and not just because of Diags fondling a pineapple.
The first episode of series 21 of Towie saw Chloe Sims come face to face with former friend Pete Wicks, who she says has been avoiding her since he got back together with Megan McKenna.
The pair had a blazing row outside a souvenir shop with Pete claiming that Chloe had used things he said against him.
"I spent time out of my life caring for you... Why would I use anything against you?” Chloe blasted back.
"Did I, or did I not, tell you: 'I hope you get back with Megan but I won't ever be friends with her'?
"I spent hours on the phone to you, helping you. And this is what I f*cking get!"
Earlier in the show, it seemed that Megan was trying to stir trouble for Chloe. When Gemma Collins asked why the threesome couldn’t be pals, she replied: "Chloe's dragged it on. People shouldn't get involved in people's relationships, 'cause look what happened. We're back together now."
And Pete chimed in: "I'd rather be awkward than fake," which feels like a pretty brutal way of dealing with someone who supported him when his relationship broke down.
But it seems that there are some people in Essex Chloe can rely on.
The make-up artist shared Georgia Kousoulou’s support on Twitter.
Georgia said: “Will always be by your side & will always have your back @Chloe_Sims.”
Excuse us, we’ve just got something in our eye.
And although Diags is in some ways awful (ref: pineapple fondling) he too came out in support of his long time friend.
“Literally one of my family! Love this girl,” he said.
