At the end of the last series of TOWIE, in July, it looked like Chloe Sims and Ferne McCann had made up. Chloe conceded, "I think the dust has settled, so if you're ready to move on, then I'm definitely ready."
But as the cameras rolled on the new series - which kicked off last week - it was clear their bitter feud (which started after a video emerged of Ferne wrapping her legs around another man in Las Vegas - while she was dating Chloe's brother Charlie Sims) was far from over. In fact, it's worse than ever.
When we spoke to Ferne, 23, in July, she was defiant, telling us, I don't slag Chloe off behind her back... I save it for the camera!"
But when Chloe, 32, turned up at heat's shoot the day after the first episode of the new series aired, she wasn't as feisty. She was tired, admitting she hadn't slept, as she was worrying about the situation.
Her plan, she claims, is just to stay away from Ferne. "I'm not going to fight her, I'm taking myself out of it and I'm avoiding her like the plague now," she tells us.
But Chloe's war with Ferne is seemingly affecting everything from her relationship with Charlie to her attitude towards TOWIE, and she talking to heat to explain why things have turned sour again. It's clear the situation is no closer to being resolved...
Why have things gone bad between you and Ferne again?
I found out that she'd been saying all kinds of things about me. Once I found that out, I thought, "You're way too two-faced for me." I've already gone against my feelings a few times for Charlie's sake. How often do you go against yourself for someone else?
Can it ever get better?
For now, I would rather never see her again. I don't need Ferne McCann in my life at all.
