*TOWIE *drama now, and in between James ‘Arg’ Argent eating a lot of sausages and Bobby Norris nervously wiggling his eyebrows at a skin therapist, there has been some real drama going on: Dan Osborne – that one who is taking Lucy Mecklenburgh out for tame and nervous little dates – is set to become a father for the first time, after his ex-girlfriend has announced that she is pregnant.
The 23-year-old tattoo artist has previously admitted he was in an off-again, on-again relationship that went firmly into the ‘off-again’ zone just before he jetted off to Marbella.
“I had an on-off girlfriend that I still really care about but we broke up before Marbella and, for now, I’m single,” he said, singly.
Pregnant
But since finding out his ex is pregnant he has stepped fully up to the plate – and even attended early scans with the mystery mother.
“He’s so excited about being a dad,” a source told The Mirror. “Everyone who knows Dan knows that he will be really hands-on and make a great father. It’s an exciting time for everyone.” Well, not Lucy, but yeah. Everyone else.
“Dan is still close to her,” the source continued. “He is being really supportive.”
Yes, yes, but what for TOWIE’s most exciting new couple since that stare-y eyed friend of Dan’s took that big-boobed friend of Jasmin out to watch some dogs run around a track? Well, we’ll have to wait to find out: while Lucy is dealing with the shock pregnancy news of Dan’s ex, she’ll be serving a suspension on the show for getting into a fight at Arg’s garden party.
