As the cast of The Only Way is Essex prepare to fly to Ibiza to film the next series of the reality show, cast and crew are taking steps to ensure James 'Arg' Argent doesn’t miss his flight.
Last month Arg failed to make his flight to Majorca and after a brief missing person appeal, panic was over when he made contact with his family, confessing he had turned up at the WRONG airport and had no battery on his phone.
So to make sure the TOWIE cast get off the ground without a hiccup, on-off girlfriend and co-star Lydia Rose-Bright, told heat: “I’m definitely going to make sure Arg doesn’t miss his flight this time. I’ll be making sure and I’m sure the crew makes sure he gets in his cab on time and he makes his flight. We DO NOT need that drama again do we?!”
Lydia continued: "I’m really looking forward to Ibiza. I haven’t really seen Arg that much. We’ve both been really busy working on different projects, so I’m looking forward to getting away.
I haven’t seen much of the cast really, because I’ve been away but I’m really looking forward to being with the girls and seeing everyone again, it’s going to be a really good series.
And Lydia will be packing plenty for Ibiza, so much that she’ll need her own room. She told us: “I think we will be staying in a hotel but TOWIE are very last minute, so we only get told three or four days before. All I’ve been told is the date that I’m flying so I don’t know where I’m staying yet but I’ll be fine, I’ll pack a suitcase and be on my way.
“I live by myself so I have to have my own space, so I always request my own hotel because I prefer my own room, one because I have so many clothes and two because I prefer my own space.”
Let’s hope she doesn’t go over the luggage allowance too much or the plane will be grounded on the runway.
But one thing Lydia is hoping will fly high, is her friend Lucy Mecklenburgh and dance partner Billy George, who will be competing in the final of BBC’s Tumble tomorrow night, adding: “I’m keeping all my fingers crossed and wishing her the best – I’m hoping she’s going to win.”
Lydia recently took part in a flashmob-style photoshoot on Millennium Bridge in Central London with scantily clad dancers for a new Art of Dressing ‘Dress Tease’ show for clothing retailer Peter Hahn, which showcases some key pieces from the AW14 collection.
Lydia told us: “They start off in their underwear and it shows all the glamour and all the fun of getting dressed up when you’re getting dressed. It’s a real great project to be involved in and I really love the brand.”
