TOWIE's Frankie Essex had clumps of hair pulled out of her scalp and was given a black eye during a nightclub attack on Saturday.
The reality star was allegedly set upon by a group of girls in the loos of Club 195 in Epping all because they recognised her from the show.
Frankie told the Sun that she'd been out with TOWIE co-stars Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright and her boyfriend John Lyons when the gang started on her.
They apparently started banging on the cubicle door and when she didn't come out, they broke it down.
"They were literally pulling out clumps of my hair. They were really going for it. I was scared they might pull out a knife or a smashed bottle," Frankie said.
"I made eye contact with one of the girls and I was pleading with her, 'Please, please make your friends stop' - but she just laughed."
Her attackers kept screaming, "Who do you fking think you are?" and "Fking bitch!" at her as they carried out the attack - and they didn't stop until a bouncer intervened, scooped up the TOWIE star in his arms and ran her to a staff room.
John, who had been outside having a cigarette, came running back in after the group of alleged attackers passed him boasting about "doing Frankie Essex".
"I can't believe it - how someone could do that just because of a TV show, out of jealousy and spite?" Frankie added.
It's not the first time a TOWIE cast member has been set upon because of their fame - both Sam Faiers and her older sister Billie were attacked back in 2011 at a London nightclub, leaving Sam needing a brain scan after she was kicked and punched in the head.
