We love weddings: a whole day of hanging out with your pals, wearing your best rig out and drinking wine on someone else’s dollar.

And celebrating the huge commitment two people in love are making to each other of course.

So we are thrilled at the prospect of another Towie wedding possibly being on the cards as there has been nowhere near enough of that business in Brentwood.

Sure, there was Leah Wright’s wedding but who even is Leah Wright? Exactly.

This one is much more exciting.

Jon Clark could be getting ready to ask Lauren Pope to be his bride. We can see why he’d be keen: he is really punching with Pops. Or, as Diags put it to Lauren:

“You’re at the classy end of the scale, and Jon’s rough.”

In fact, it feels like there’s a whole lot of people in Towie who do NOT think that Lauren and Jon are love’s young dream.

“I think you’re too good for Jon Clark,” said Gemma Collins in last night’s episode.

“Do you want that to be your boyfriend?” Mario Falcone asked when Jon started throwing his finger in Jordan Brook’s face.

But (fortunately?) one member of the cast believes the two could go all the way.

Georgia Kousoulou, bless her, has suggested that Jon should take Pops up the aisle.

“Get married already,” she tweeted at Lauren and Jon during Sunday night’s show, in which Jon admitted that he had lied to Lauren about being in contact with his ex girlfriend #cough# Chloe Crowhurst #cough#.

And Jon seemed to like the idea, tweeting some very happy faces in return.

We’ll hold off buying a hat just yet.
