Dan Osborne has found himself at the centre of quite a bit of controversy of late but it seems he may be able to put it behind him soon – he’s reportedly been offered a spot on *Celebrity Big Brother, *despite allegations he threatened to stab his ex and mother of his son, Megan Tomlin.
Channel 5 producers are hoping the ex-TOWIE star will jump at the chance to redeem himself on CBB.
Talking to The Sun, a source said: “Dan was reality TV’s golden boy but the public’s perception of him totally changed after hearing all the horrible things he said to megan.
“He’s done for unless he convinces people he’s really a nice guy. Big Brother loves controversial figures and Dan is on the job hunt after TOWIE ditched him, so this could be a match made in heaven.
“This is the best opportunity to show people how sorry he is – and collect a big cheque at the same time.”
A spokesperson for Dan refused to comment on whether or not the newly engaged hunk will be going into the Celebrity Big Brother house but a source close to the shamed star said: “He’s looking at various options at the moment.”
He’ll need more than a Dream Boys strip tease to win over the public this time round…
