TOWIE star Maria Fowler has stuck up for the recent Protein World adverts by suggesting plus-size fashion brands should have THEIR ads fat-shamed.

She took to Twitter last night to stand up for the supplements company - which sparked a media frenzy this week after giant posters featuring a slim woman asking if other women were "beach body ready" were put up on the London Underground - and claimed Protein World are just "promoting a healthy lifestyle".

Her followers weren't happy though; one said: "Totally irresponsible tweet on your part but hey, keeps you in the media hey? #irresponsiblebrat."
