Pop star Tulisa appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court for the second day running. She aims to overturn her conviction for assaulting celebrity blogger Vas Morgan.

She was found guilty last summer of punching him in the face at 2013’s V Festival during an argument. She was ordered to pay a £3,020 fine for the attack.

Tulisa is appealing the conviction and maintains that she stayed calm and did not punch Vas as he insulted her mentally ill mother.

Vas claims that his face was swollen after Tulisa allegedly punched him.

Tulisa said in court today: "I think I used swear words, called him a b**_d and a d_head in retaliation, being argumentative. It was petty stuff really."

A feud between Tulisa and Vas – who’s currently in TOWIE – began when he posted up the sex tape that leaked of Tulisa and her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards in 2012.

Tulisa had Vas removed from a private area where she was partying at the Whisky Mist nightclub. Tensions between the two culminated in a showdown at V Festival.

Today the court heard how pop star Alexandra Burke told the pair to “leave it” when attempting to calm the row down.

The trial continues.
