Tulisa Contostavlos has been charged with drink-driving and dangerous driving after her car was involved in a collision in London last year.
The singer was arrested on September 10 near Southgate Underground station and spent 22 hours in police custody.
Former The X Factor judge Tulisa had just bought her £199,000 Ferarri and had only been driving it for a matter of days when she crashed into an elderly couple’s car, according to the Daily Mirror.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Tulisa Contostavlos, 27, was charged on Monday 7 March with drink-driving and dangerous driving.
“She was bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Monday 4 April.”
The former N-Dubz singer faces a ban from driving for up to a year and could even be sent to prison for up to two years.
This is not the first time Tulisa has found herself on the wrong side of the law – she walked free from a drugs trial which collapsed in 2014.
After taking some time out following the trial, Tulisa has been working on a career comeback and has teamed up with The X Factor’s Rebecca Ferguson who finished in second place in 2010.
Brian Rawling, a Grammy Award winner who has worked with One Direction, Cher, Enrique Iglesias and Tina Turner, has also been brought in to help.
A source told the paper: “Tulisa’s been beavering away in the studio. She had some decent writing sessions with Rebecca and it sounded really good. They’re just settling on the right tracks.”
