There’s MORE Twitter drama for Fifth Harmony and Camila Cabello

Oh God

Fifth Harmony

So it’s safe to say Camila Cabello's split with Fifth Harmony is NOT going well.

We first heard the news that Camila had quit the group on Sunday night from 5H's official Twitter account, where they posted a statement that read:

"After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well".

ICE. COLD.

Did the band really only find out through Camila's reps? That's gotta hurt…

The remaining members of 5H (that's Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei) then went on to promise fans that they would be staying together as a four-piece and emphasising how "committed" they are to keep the group going, even if they do solo work.

Another burn for Camila – she's released hit singles with Machine Gun Kelly and Shawn Mendes. That's right Camila, we know what you did last summer.

But the final nail in the coffin for this relationship? The band unfollowed Camila on Twitter the day she quit. Which was the day her contract with Syco expired, btw.

Just when you thought things couldn't get ANY worse, Camila and 5H have been getting feisty on Twitter.

First – Camila posted her first statement on the whole 'quitting the band without telling them' drama, saying she was "shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing".

Camila also claimed "the girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much needed conversations about the future that we had during tour. Saying that they were just informed through my representatives that I was “leaving the group” is simply not true."

Camila revealed that she didn't want to end things with Fifth Harmony this way, but that she wishes "nothing but the best for them".

Classic post-split line.

Then – Fifth Harmony hit back with their own "unedited" statement.

The band started out by saying that the last thing they wanted was an argument on Twitter, and that " Over the past several months, we have consistently made every effort to sit down and discuss the future of Fifth Harmony with Camila".

Apparently the girls called meetings and group counselling, but that Camila and "her team" rejected all their "exhausted efforts".

Ooooooooh.

Obviously they also stated that they wished her the best and support her no matter what etc etc etc.

5H ended their statement with the news that "now that we’ve said our peace, we are done engaging in this back and forth" (who wants to tell them that they spelled 'piece' wrong…)

It's never nice seeing your besties fighting, we hope Camila and the band can work this out.
