Uma Thurman talks about her “changing face”

Poor Uma Thurman. The actress stepped out to attend the premiere of The Slap this week, and everyone went CRAZY over her changed appearance.

Twitter blew up with comments about how it looked like she'd had plastic surgery and how she looked well, a little different.

Naturally the actress was asked about all the drama-rama surrounding her face in an interview on the Today show in America - and she just shrugged it off, like the TOTAL BOSS she is.

"Um, I don't know", she said. "I guess nobody liked my makeup. I mean, I've been doing this for years and years and years, and people say things nice and they say things mean."

"It's just like, whatever" she added. Fair point.

Uma's make-up artist Troy Surratt was equally baffled by the speculation, telling People:

"Frankly, I’m quite surprised by the conversation...By now I would have thought that we were all open to and knowledgeable of the role that makeup plays in the world of fashion and particularly celebrity, as a medium for creative self expression".

He added: "I think that women should feel open and free to experiment with different beauty looks - it's only make-up, at the end of the day it all washes off."

So it was just her make-up everyone, OK? Or it might not have been, but let's stop going all Renee Zellweger on her. Let's just watch her be awesome in this clip instead.
