Ooh – exciting vampire engagement wedding alert. Ian Somerhalder off The Vampire Diaries and Twilight’s Nikki Reed may be engaged, as she’s been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger, and why else would you do that, eh?
An insider told Us Weekly that Nikki accepted Ian’s proposal “with glee”.
Well, we’d hope so, or that’d be weird.
Another source told the magazine: "It may seem quick, but they knew it was right. They believe in the same things. They are dedicated to their work and helping others."
And an insider told InTouch that they heard the pair talking about planning their wedding at the World Dog Awards last week.
"They mentioned a June [wedding] date. They're really excited."
Fancy that. You head to the World Dog Awards – and you overhear two Hollywood stars chatting about dresses and canapés. Amazing.
On a side note, we really want to go to the World Dog Awards – doesn’t it sound so… USA? None of that Crufts nonsense. We’ve just had a research and none other than Paris Hilton presents the awards – and they’re GOLDEN FIRE HYDRANTS. Er, yes please.
Anyway, back to the story at hand – Nikki and Ian have been dating for around six months, and according to In Touch, the engagement happened over Christmas. Cute.
