When you’re one of those famous types you get to do all kinds of cool things and meet loads of lovely people.
So, imagine being Ed Sheeran – the chances of this kind of thing happening must be multiplied by, like, a billion.
And, whilst on the red carpet of the Q Awards today, before he was named Best Solo Artist at the bash, Ed spoke of one these recent encounters which just so happened with Irish singer Van Morrison.
He told us: “I had breakfast with Van Morrison last week and it was incredible. Definitely one of the top moments of my career.
“The day before I got a call from the hotel concierge saying, ‘Van Morrison’s down here if you want to come and meet him.’ And I was like, ‘Does he know I’m coming?’ They said no so I said I wasn’t coming down to interrupt his breakfast.
“The next day I get a call at the same time, at about 7 o’clock in the morning and they were like, ‘He’s personally requested you come down and have a bagel with him.’”
Why doesn’t this happen to us? We wouldn’t mind breakfast with Beyonce. WHO CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN?!
