Monday: Lower Body Weights
On Monday's, Vanessa trains her lower body with weights by doing exercises like deadlifts, glute bridges, lunges and reverse lunges. To maximise her workout she does 4 sets of each exercise, before finishing off with a burst of squat variations. Think squats into jump squats, lunges into jump squats and burpees into jump squats. Erm...WOW.
TUESDAY: Low Intensity Cardio + Core
On Tuesday's, Vanessa starts with a 30 – 40 minute low intensity run on a treadmill. After that, she focuses on her core by doing a mixture of ab roll outs, russian twists and standing windmills with weights. Each set is repeated 4 times because SHE MEANS BUSINESS, PEOPLE.
WEDNESDAY: Upper Body
It might be hump day but that doesn't mean it's time to slack on your fitness regime. On Wednesday's, Vanessa trains her upper body by doing sets of exercises like landmine push presses and pull ups. Then, she does an intense HIIT circuit to finish her workout. This involves a mixture of assault bikes, battle rope exercises and burpees.
THURSDAY: Low Intensity Cardio + Core
On Thursday's, Vanessa amps up her cardio with a 30 – 40 minute low intensity run. Then, she does a core circuit with exercises like high plank shoulder taps and side-to-side rolling planks. Basically, she trains pretty damn hard.
FRIDAY: Hot Yoga
It's the weekend - hoorah! On Friday's Vanessa winds down with a relaxing hot yoga session at Third Space to give her muscles a rest.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Rest
