By "good things" we hope he doesn't mean his Jedward collaboration

Eighties rapper Vanilla Ice - a man famous for one song, getting naked with Madonna in her sex book, starring in the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and coming runner-up in Channel 5's long forgotten celebrity reality show, *The Farm - * has broken his silence on his charges of burglary and grand theft.

The 47-year-old rapper whose real name is Robert Van Winkle (AMAZING) was taken into police custody on February 18 after allegedly breaking into a house in Florida and stealing.

Speaking to *WBPF*, Vanilla Ice said: "It's just blown out of proportion. I wish you guys would focus on the good things I've done."

When he says "you guys", does he mean the media? Or the police? Because we don't think authorities will be swayed by the "good things" he's done, especially if by "good things" he means his collaboration with Jedward on the mash-up of* Ice Ice Baby* and Queen's track Under Pressure.

Yep, please don't focus on the alleged crime charges, focus on his good stuff, such as his presenting for The Vanilla Ice Project, as show on DIY TV. Vanilla was working on remodelling a house for the show, when the one next door was burgled.

The* Ice Ice Baby* rapper was then asked if the incident was part of the show, to which he responded: "I wish it was. There's nothing fun about this.

"I wish everyone the best, and maybe the good news will travel this fast."

Items thought to have been taken include furniture, bikes, a pool heater and other household items from the property on Hypoluxo Island.
