I’m A Celeb winner Vicky Pattison: “Geordie Shore turned me into a caricature of myself”

Vicky Pattison, Queen of the Jungle, has turned on the show that created her, Geordie Shore.

Aw, pet. Vicky quit MTV’s show at the end of season 9 in 2014.

But during filming of series 7, in 2013, Vicky and Holly Hagan were arrested on suspicion of assault.

“My contract with MTV looked like it was going to be terminated, I thought I would have no work and I was losing contracts left, right and centre.

And while not blaming the show for her behaviour, Vicky did say that she felt herself to be in a dark place after signing up for another series of the hard-drinking programme.

“The show created a caricature of us and in the end I started playing up to that, I was my own worst enemy,” she told The Sun.

On a lighter note, sort of, our Vix admits that she did have a jungle crush.

No, not Duncan Bannatyne - because we are refusing to give that brain space.

“I did fancy him and I was disappointed he left,” she said.

“We did flirt quite a lot on the first night and he just never came back. I thought, ‘Once you’ve seen Jorgie [Porter], who we’d sent to Snake Rock to join him, you’re not going to be interested in me. “

But after Spencer had gone, Jorgie said, ‘Spencer has just talked about you non-stop’. I thought, ‘I hope he comes back’.”

Spencer quit the show following the revelation of his dependence on “steroid-based” medicine.

And now he’s being touted for CBB 2016…
