The world was delivered a stark reminder that Brooklyn Beckham is no longer 12 years old last week when he unveiled his brand-new tattoo.

The edgy inking of a Native American man on his arm is reminiscent of one his father, David Beckham, also has (and he was even with Brooklyn for the event).

But Posh Spice apparently ain't pleased.

“Although she understands Brooklyn is an adult now, she would've preferred him to wait,” says an insider close to the couple, who also have children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

"She’s been saying no for years, but Victoria felt like David was less bothered about it because of his own tattoos. She wanted Brooklyn to think twice about the inking because it’s permanent and she suggested he have a temporary one or use Henna. But David told Vic to be realistic. Their son is 18 now, and he would’ve done it with or without their support."

David, unlike Victoria who's apparently been lasering hers off, is said to be keen to add to his tattoo collection.

He previously said: “The tattoos are a way of me expressing deeper feelings about the things I care about and love. Am I done? Probably not. I think Victoria's given up on telling me to stop now. She used to. She used to say, 'Do you have to?' But she knows it makes me happy."

Brooklyn has since added another tattoo to his collection, which you can see here, and we're big fans.
