Sometimes we wonder if Victoria Beckham has actually lost the ability to smile, but her unusual display of happiness warmed our hearts last night at the British Fashion Awards.
The designer was handed the prize for Brand of the Year at London’s Coliseum and burst into tears when she accepted the gong.
Vicky B thanked her husband for his support as well as her former Spice Girls bandmates – Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C - plus the British public.
Picking up her trophy, she said: “We’ve come a long way since the Spice Girl dressing room days.”
She added she’s surprised the rest of the legendary pop group have been so supportive as she could be a “right pain in the butt”, according to the Daily Mirror.
Victoria and hubby David had spent the afternoon before the ceremony at her flagship London store to help raise funds for World Aids Day.
Retired footballer but relentless hunk David was caught up in a car crash at the weekend.
But, worry not! He’s recovering well, telling the paper at the event: “I’m fine but I’m a bit shaky and a bit sore.”
