Victoria Beckham is preparing for the release of her brand-new Netflix docuseries next month. But as the launch date draws closer, what should be an exciting time for the designer has been tainted by the ongoing bitter family feud with son Brooklyn, with insiders telling heat VB fears it could ‘overshadow’ the launch.
‘Vic’s been having sleepless nights. What started out as an exciting prospect has been tarnished by the Brooklyn situation,’ says a source. ‘Vic’s loved making the series and is so proud of the end result, but she can’t help feeling sad, because Brooklyn can’t share in any of it.’
The trailer for the three-part series – which streams from 9 October – dropped last week, with no sign of Brooklyn in any of the footage. VB’s three other children – Harper, 14, Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23 – did all feature, but while sources have said Brooklyn does make the cut in the full series, appearing in scenes filmed at her Paris Fashion Week show in 2024, Victoria is unlikely to address the family fallout.

Things are said to have been fraught between the once tight-knit Beckham family since Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding in 2022. This year, things went from bad to worse, with Brooklyn, 26, missing all of David’s month- long 50th birthday celebrations and unfollowing his brothers on social media.
But perhaps the lowest point came in August when he and Nicola, 30, renewed their vows with none of his family in attendance. A source told heat at the time that Victoria ‘broke down in tears’ when she saw the photos on Instagram.
Our insider says, ‘The whole family was supposed to attend the premiere, but Brooklyn and Nicola won’t be there now. Vic’s adapted her original plan, and instructed her PR team to ensure no questions about Brooklyn are asked while she’s promoting the series. All she’s prepared to say is that she’s proud of all of her children. The whole situation is so awkward. David and the other kids are trying to get her excited, but it’s not been easy at all.’

According to Netflix, the docuseries, titled simply Victoria Beckham, will trace ‘her rise to unprecedented success with the Spice Girls, through her high-profile relationship with football legend David, to her relentless work to establish herself in the cutthroat world of haute couture’.
Victoria, 51, herself has promised ‘nothing is sugarcoated’, while also revealing that ‘there are tears’, and many fans will be eager to hear her take on the alleged cheating scandals that have plagued her 26-year marriage to David – the most famous being David’s alleged affair with his former PA Rebecca Loos in 2003.
Although the Beckhams have always denied the claims, in David’s Netflix docuseries Beckham, Vic did admit, ‘It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us. We were against each other, if I’m being completely honest.’ David added, ‘It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.’
Multiple women have since made cheating allegations against David – all of which he denies – including beauty salon owner Danielle Heath in 2004, and sex worker Irma Nici in 2010. Celebrity biographer Tom Bowers also claimed the couple hit such a low point in 2016 that they barely spoke. But despite this, they have weathered the storms.
Our insider says, ‘Vic wanted the main focus of her series to be about fashion, but she accepts people won’t watch just for that. She’s been more vulnerable than she normally would.Discussing that time in her life is still difficult, but she wants people to see her strength and understand why she’d never give up on her marriage.’
Despite this, we’re told VB is still extremely worried about the public reaction. ‘She’s scared the series won’t have the same positive reaction as David’s,’ the insider says. ‘Deep down, she’s still that shy, self-conscious teenager. But Victoria comes across so well. Not that she would ever slate Brooklyn, but it will be hard not to take her side in the fallout.’
