There’s no denying Victoria Beckham has a lot on her plate. Not only does she run her own fashion and beauty brand, she has four children and a husband who spends half his time working away from home.
And lately, things at Brand Beckham have been under strain, thanks to David launching his new football club in Miami and the behaviour of their eldest son Brooklyn.
As heat has reported, David will be spending more time in America, and while Posh had wanted to be there with him, we’re now told she’s realised it’s best for everyone if she stays in London most of the time.
“Vic has had to swallow her pride and let David spend the bulk of his time for the foreseeable future in America, because she knows it’s going to cement his status as a sports superstar out there,” our insider says.
“Their management have drawn up a long list of projects for him, including commercials, TV and film cameos, and ad campaigns for him to do out there.”

The insider adds, “It doesn’t make sense for Vic to be out there with him the whole time, so she has agreed for them to lead separate lives when it comes to work – she’ll be based in the UK running her fashion business and looking after the kids – and they’ll do whatever they can to make this arrangement work for them as a family.
"Vic feels as though this is the only way to save Brand Beckham. It’s come under a lot of flak and they worked so hard to build it up – she won’t risk it going under. She’s had to put all her personal feelings and insecurities aside and look at it from a business and family angle.”
We’re told Posh – who is mum to Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and eight-year-old Harper – feels that being based in London with the children will give them more stability and she can control their public image a bit more.

In the past few months, Brooklyn has been labelled a “work-shy playboy” for the fact he hasn’t got a full-time job, despite dropping out of university well over a year ago, and being linked to a series of different girls.
It has now been confirmed he is dating Marvel actress Nicola Peltz, but the insider says Vic hasn’t been impressed by all the negative stories, and she wants to make sure she doesn’t make the same mistake with the others.
She also feels she needs to take action with Romeo, who’s 18 next year and has started posting sexy images of himself on Instagram.

“Romeo has started to mature in recent months and wants to start making a name for himself,” we’re told.
“But Vic’s seen the backlash Brooklyn has had and doesn’t want Romeo to go through that. She’d love it if he became a famous model – she knows he has the potential. He hasn’t really done anything since the Burberry campaigns several years ago."
"She’s being cautious, and thinks she and the kids need to be based in London most of the time. She knows Romeo will want to start going out partying soon and will be followed by photographers when he is.
"It’ll be hard being the main parent while David is in the US, but she knows it’s what’s best for the family.”
