The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015 is a huge highlight in the pants world’s calendar – it’s a multimillion dollar production that ropes in performances from top talent (Taylor Swift and her bestie Ed Sheeran sang last year), incredibly detailed sparkly underwear, and, of course, those famous Victoria’s Secret models, also known as Angels, storming down the runway.

But when is it on this year? How do you get to watch it online? And how the actual eff do the VS Angels maintain those jaw-dropping figures? Here’s your guide to everything you need to know about very expensive pants and the women who wear them…

When is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015?

It’s taking place on Tuesday 10 November 2015 at the Lexington Armory in New York for its 20th anniversary. Tickets are already sold out, but those lucky enough to bag themselves a seat had to shell out $17,500 for a single ticket to get them into the show itself and the after-party. Fancied just attending the post-show soiree? That would’ve set you back just $6,500 per person. Barg!

Can I watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015 online?**

Well, it’ll be broadcast on CBS on Tuesday 8 December, but as most of us aren’t in America, it’s tricky. Obvs we’d never condone finding less-than-legal free sources to watch online, so we’ll stick to advising you to follow Victoria’s Secret’s Instagram account for behind-the-scenes peeks at the show. It’ll be on YouTube the day after broadcast, too. And on heatworld. Just come straight to heatworld and we’ll guide you through it, mmkay.

Who are the models for VS Fashion Show 2015?

This is VERY exciting, because Kendall Jenner and her BFF Gigi Hadid will be walking the runway for the very first time as VS Angels. They’ll be joined by established Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge, who will be closing the show in this year’s eye-popping ‘Fantasy Bra’.

Victoria’s Secret has also added another ten new Angels to its 2015 lineup, so we’ll be saying hello to Elsa Hosk, Jac Monika Jagaciak, Jasmine Tookes, Kate Grigorieva, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill, plus Rachel Hilbert for VS Pink.

So what’s with this Fantasy Bra?

The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra is the jewel in the crown of the season’s collection. Every year the company designs an opulent bra adorned with crystals, gems and precious metals that is worn by one lucky Angel, and the rest of the collection is usually themed around it.

This year, the theme is fireworks – so model Lily Aldridge will be wearing a $2million Fantasy Bra made with 6,808 diamonds, garnets, sapphires, blue topaz and pink quartz gems, 18K gold and matching pants decorated with little sparkly explosions. It’s been made by Mouawad Jewelry and valued at $2 MILLION (£1.3m).

If it sounds mad, that’s because it is.

Victoria’s Secret wings – what’s the deal?

Ah yes, the wings. Each model is sent down the catwalk with a magnificent pair of wings made from all sorts of things – metal, fabric, glitter, wispy-soft silk and sometimes actual features. Why do they wear the wings? Because they’re angels, duh. Just roll with it.

What’s a Victoria’s Secret model’s diet like?

Not going to lie, it doesn’t sound great. While the company describes its Angels’ as “healthy” and “confident”, Adriana Lima last year opened up about her “intense” fitness regime to get into the perfect shape, causing controversy with her confession that she doesn’t eat solids for nine days before the show. Instead, she drinks only protein shakes made with powdered egg until two days before the show (HURL), when she cuts out her daily gallon of water and “just drink[s] normally”.

Then, 12 hours before the start of the show, she’ll stop drinking completely, because “sometimes you can lose up to eight pounds just from that”. Don’t EVER try this at home because it can be super-dangerous, and the Angels are all closely monitored by nutritionists to watch their health.

The models also combine ballet, weightlifting, skipping rope and boxing moves to tone up ahead of the show, with some of them working out twice a day in the lead up to the event.

How much does the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show cost?

Last year’s London show was the most expensive of all time, costing an estimated $20million (£13million). The models obviously make up a massive bulk of that total, although their actual salaries are a closely guarded secret. Last year, it was estimated that Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes took home $8m each, Alessandra Ambrosio pocketed $5m and Karlie Kloss got a tidy $4m for all her modelling work of 2014.

Who’s performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015?

Unforch, Rihanna’s pulled out due to concerns about her upcoming album – she’s thought to have cancelled her VS commitment because she needs more time in the studio. She’ll be replaced by Ellie Goulding, along with Selena Gomez and The Weeknd. Model Jourdan Dunn, who walked last year for VS, isn’t doing it this year – and there’s speculation she’s been let go by the brand, as she tweeted last night: “Feeling so much better about not doing BS... sorry I mean VS now that Rihanna isn't doing it also”. Awkward.
