Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams have announced their engagement after over a year together.
Spencer proposed live on stage at the Lyceum Theatre after the couple enjoyed a performance of The Lion King.
Speaking about the decision to take their relationship to the next stage, Spenny explained: "I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her."
"The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit," he said of the proposal.
"The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”
Spencer and Vogue were treated to an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the theatre after the show. Spencer sprung his surprise proposal on Vogue when the tour came to an end against the backdrop of the stage.
The couple met in late 2016 when the both appeared on ITVs The Jump.
A spokesperson for Spencer and Vogue said: “The couple are absolutely over the moon and thrilled to share their exciting news.”
