Published on is apparently going to get a "monster pay deal" to stay on the judging panel of The Voice, since Sir Tom Jones was axed from the BBC show last week.

Producers are reportedly desperate to keep Will, whose beenon the BBC One show since 2012.

According to the Daily Star, Will has managed to sort out a "multi-million pound deal" as fans call for boycott since Sir Tom's departure.

A TV insider told the newspaper: "They will do whatever it takes to rescue the show. 'Viewers saw Tom as a steady hand and showbiz veteran who knew exactly what he was talking about.

"And although Will doesn't have much in common with him, producers will be waving a lot of money around to get him to stay."

Last week it was announced that Boy George and Paloma Faith we’re set to replace Rita Ora, who's now on The X Factor judging panel, and Sir Tom as coaches on the singing show.

The It’s Not Unusual singer, who had been with the BBC show since its conception in 2010, told how the news he would be leaving the show came as a shock to him, as he had made time in his schedule to be a part of season 5.

He took to Facebook to express his feelings to his fans, saying: “About The Voice UK: In good faith, as part of the team, I’d put the time in my schedule to be involved in Series 5, as I’ve done so for the last 4 years. I’ve supported the show and the BBC since the beginning. I was told yesterday, with no consultation or conversation of any kind, that I would not be returning.”

Still painfully awkward.
