It feels like we’ve been talking about Ed Sheeran a lot lately.

After a year of hiding from the limelight, it’s fair to say Ed is well and truly back in the public eye.

He’s released two absolute bangers in the form of Castle on the Hill and Shape of You (listen to them here), he’s been getting speeding tickets in real life after singing about driving at 90mph (lolol), and he’s finally explained EXACTLY what happened that night he got a face scar from Princess Beatrice and that sword.

Just a few examples of why we bloody well love him, and why we’ve missed him terribly.

And as if we couldn’t get enough of him already, he’s gone and done something SO GOOD that we forgot for a good five minutes that payday wasn’t for another two weeks and we spent the last of our money on the brand new Juicy Couture tracksuits.

Thanks for that, Ed.

The singer decided to put a spin on a song that absolutely everyone know the words to – whether you’re 4 or 24 or 124 – and the results were truly MAGICAL.

During a radio interview, Ed was asked by a fan to sing the theme tune from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

And could Ed withstand the pressure? Could he muster up a hit in just five seconds like some sort of harmonising God? Could he use his musical wizardry to whip up some perfect last-minute chords to compliment the Fresh Prince song?

Of COURSE he bloody could. He’s Ed Sheeran.

And he managed to turn it from popular theme tune into a song that could literally be on one of his albums.
