WATCH: Kylie Jenner meets Caitlyn for the first time in brand new I Am Cait clip

Caitlyn Jenner has been really open about the reactions of her various children to the news she was transiting into a woman – and now we get to see her daughter Kylie Jenner meeting her for the first time.

In a new clip from Caitlyn’s upcoming E! docu-series I Am Cait, Kylie peeps inside a room where her dad and grandma are getting their hair and make-up prepped.

“I do want to meet her,” Kylie says in the voiceover. “It’ll be a little… uncomfortable in the beginning, but I think we’re both ready.”

When she gets the first glimpse of Caitlyn, Kylie exclaims: “Hey, pretty! You look so pretty.”

She gives her dad – Caitlyn has insisted she will always be Kylie and Kendall’s father, rather than their second mother – a big hug, then greets her grandma, Esther Jenner.

Caitlyn’s mum later gives Kylie a framed picture of herself when she was 17, and Kylie can see a really strong family resemblance.

“Here’s the kicker: she was 17 years old in this picture and she was married,” Caitlyn tells her daughter.

“Kinda like me!” jokes Kylie.

Caitlyn splutters, “Huh! I’d better not hear that from you!” and Kylie laughs.

The former Olympian has been worried about how her two youngest daughters will cope with her transition, confiding in one friend in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that

“Kylie’s the one we’re really worried about”.

“She’s having a hard time dealing with this. I do everything I can to try to stay in touch but she doesn’t want to talk about it. She’s just shut me out lately,” she added.

“My big concern is just that we’ve had such a close relationship for so many years and my kids are everything to me. I don’t want her to go away, emotionally.”

Caitlyn wasn’t at Kylie and Kendall’s surprise graduation party last night, so hopefully the three of them have had their own family celebrations away from the spotlight.
