GIRL POWER 4EVA

We've been obsessed with the Spice Girls ever since we bought our first Spice cassette tape (lol remember cassette tapes?), and played the music so loud on the bus home that everyone could hear Wannabe blaring out our Walkman.

In our eyes Posh, Sporty, Ginger, Scary and Baby were pioneers of the Girl Power movement.

They taught us the importance of female friendship and left us with the mantra “If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends."

From the Spice Girls we learned to appreciate our mothers, and to say "Mama I love you" from time to time.

And most importantly we were told to Never Give Up On The Good Times.

All of the necessary life lessons.

Anyway: the spicey fivesome (because they'll always be a five in our eyes) have come back into our lives thanks to a KICK-ASS clip showing the girls completely shutting down a sexist dicklord.

In the leaked footage, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Geri Halliwellcan be seen laying into a misogynist telling them to show more "cleavage and midriff" on set of a Polaroid commercial.

Eurghh.

The footage comes from behind the scenes of the commercial, where the girls are playing schoolgirls who have been kicked out for being naughty. V St. Trinians.

The clip starts with Mel B charging up to a man (potentially a director), asking: "Was it you? Did you ask that?" referring to the demand to show more cleavage and midriffs.

He very sheepishly then replies: "It's every man's fantasy."

Before adding: "That's showbiz."

IS IT? REALLY?

Then before we get a chance to hear his feeble attempt to justify his silly comments, Geri marches over, points her finger in his face and calls him a "chauvinistic pig" and Vicky B steals his sunglasses.

LOLOLOL.

Victoria then runs off saying "It's not sunny, stop trying to look cool," and tries to sell said sunglasses for "one quid."

Spice

Isn't she just the best?

It seems the girls got their way and Mr. Misogynist failed in his sexist mission for more boob on show (as the commercial was distinctly lacking in cleavage or midriff).

TALK ABOUT GIRL POWER.
