If you're anything like us, you'll probably have watched Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime show about 6894 times. But, while dusting off your Bad Romance moves and screaming 'GAGA, OOH LA LA' down the earhole of anyone who'll listen, you might be wondering if she managed to nab the title of most-watched halftime show ever.
Well we have answers for ya, honey.
Loads of popstar-types have performed on the pitch (is it even a pitch?) over the years. We're talking Katy Perry. We're talking Madonna. We're talking Britney Spears and *NSync, for crying out loud. But how did Gaga's show compare ratings-wise, eh?
So it turns out Super Bowl LI didn't quite get the viewers last year's - which saw Coldplay wheel out Beyoncé and Bruno Mars - did; but this year's still averaged on 11.3 million viewers.
In fact, there was actually a spike to 117.5 million viewers as soon as Gaga jumped off that roof and got straight into a bit of Poker Face. Nice one, love.
How does that compare to previous performances, then? Well right now the most-watched top 3's looking a little bit like this:
-
Katy Perry
-
Lady Gaga
-
Coldplay
