Westlife's Mark Feehily has announced his engagement! The 38-year-old, who has been secretly dating his partner for the last six years, announced the happy news on Instagram this morning with a series of three photos, revealing that they'd become engaged whilst on holiday in the Maldives.
Writing, '2019 has been so amazing to me so far and it’s only getting started! I wanted to be the first to say it... #engaged ❤️💥👬', Mark posted a photo of an engagement ring at a romantic dinner, a short video of their stunning holiday location and a shot of the couple from the back.
Fans were, of course, over the moon for the couple, and in just two hours the post has amassed almost 10,000 likes and over 1,000 comments of congratulations. One fan wrote, 'Awwww.... ❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations to you both. 💍🥂', whilst another added, 'Congratulations Mark!! 🥂🍾 happy for both of you!' and one more commented, 'Congratulations!! This is lovely news ❤️❤️❤️.' [sic]
Unsurprisingly, fans were desperate to know who the lucky man is, and many left comments asking about the identity of Mark's new fiancé, but he has kept schtum on the matter.

He added the reasons for keeping quiet, "He is not quiet believe me, he is far from quiet, but he has no experience whatsoever in the music industry and he is quite shy about coming to the red carpet. A lot of people ask me his name and it is not that I don't say his name, it is his thing to say and if he wants to be in a magazine then that's his choice."
