We can probably all agree that The Inbetweeners was one of the best things to ever happen to British television. And out of the four endearing weirdos, Will was probably our fave.
From shitting himself in an exam to having an absolute nightmare when he first sampled weed ("MUMMY OR AMBULANCE"), he captured the hearts of a nation.
So we were super-excited to hear that the loveable virgin is only half that now – he's had a baby! In real life, that is; we're pretty sure Will the character would never manage such a thing…
Actor Simon Bird and his wife Lisa Owens – who he married in 2012 – became a father six months ago. And the baby has apaz inherited his father's "slightly judgmental air". AMAZING.
Simon and his Friday Night Dinner co-star Tom Rosenthal did a joint interview with heat. When asked about whether the former Inbetweeners star has seen his other show Flat TV, Tom said: "Simon very cleverly watched it only after we finished filming Friday Night Dinner, because if he didn't like it, that would have made things very awkward.
"It would be like me saying his kid is shit. Luckily, his kid is actually bloody great. He's got this bobbing head. And he's got this 'Simon Bird' slightly judgemental air about him."
Simon admitted: "He is quite judgmental. He's six months," to which Tom agreed, adding: "He's only six months old but I feel like he's already patronising me. It's great."
Is it just us or does this baby sound literally hilarious?
Friday Night Dinner returns to Channel 4 on Friday 22 July 2016.
