When BBC show The Voice first hit our screens back in 2012, we were so excited to see that Will.I.Am made one quarter of the judging panel - and there he's stayed, in his trusty fourth chair for 4 years.
But now that the competition is set to move to ITV for it's next series - it looks as though Will.I.Am may have decided to quit for good.
Reports have come about following his announcement that his band The Black Eyed Peas would be reuniting soon. On Capital's Evening Show with Roman Kempt, the star said "There will be a Black Eyed Peas reunion…it just…it breaks my heart that I even have to say that because really we should just…we should just always have been doing Black Eyed Peas actually. We shouldn’t have ever…right.'
A source told the Sunday Mirror; "Will feels that with this huge change it's the right time to leave but it's quite an emotional decision". Hmph.
However, the Radio Times reported that Will was already in talks with ITV about appearing on the next series.
And that might not be the only knock that the show will see in time for next season as Paloma Faith has reportedly decided to quit, too.
An insider told The Mirror: "Paloma took a lot of convincing to do the show in the first place this year. Getting rid of acts just doesn't sit well with her and she has found it a lot harder than she first thought.'
Hmm. Could we be set for a whole new version of The Voice next season?
