The X Factor has given us stars such as One Direction, Olly Murs, Leona Lewis, even Jedward. The Voice has given us… we're drawing a blank.

And we're not the only ones who think The X Factor contestants do better than those who appear on The Voice – Will.i.am agrees with us too!

The Black Eyed Peas frontman could find himself out of a job after THESE comments.

"OK, I can say it now - before I couldn't, and now I can. The singing shows that have been successful are 'The X Factor ' and 'Pop Idol'."

And why does he think that is?

"Who's the consistent person working on those shows? Simon Cowell," he told Q magazine.

"Here's a person that ran a record label that is attached to TV shows - of course someone is going to turn into a f*cking star."

He added: "The problem with The Voice is, the people that are on the chairs are not plugged into the record label.

"Our show is about celebrating awesome voices. He's looking for 'The X Factor '. We're trying to get citrus out of apples."

Perhaps this is Will's way of telling us he won't be re-joining The Voice when it moves over to ITV from the BBC following a mega deal.

We're not sure he'll even be welcome back after The Voice bosses read this.

But you never know, maybe Simon Cowell can find a spot for him on T_he X Factor_.
