Yesterday we started hearing rumours that Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were calling time on their marriage. And quite frankly we were devastated.

Just as we were ripping open our third box of Kleenex Mansize, relief came in the shape of Will himself.

MORE NEWS!

The Suicide Squad actor has taken to Facebook to deny that he and Jada – who have been married for nearly 22 years – are getting a divorce.

Phew.

Will, 46, wrote on his Facebook page: "Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious)

"But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured – 'What the hell'... I can be foolish, too!

"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are... NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)

"I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself! ‪#‎Dumb‬ People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's."

His comments were echoed by 43-year-old Jada on Twitter when she wrote: "My king has spoken."

So there you have it – all calm may resume at the Smith household.
