‘Hahaha whaaaaaaaat’ news now, and some rando lady in America has filed a maternity suit against Jay Z and Beyoncé. Yes, maternity: as in, she alleges she gave birth to Blue Ivy. With her body. And Beyoncé did not do that thing. Hahaha: whaaaaaaaat?
Tina Seals has filed a legal document at Manhattan Supreme Court, claiming she was “previously associated” (legalese for a threeway) with Beyoncé and Jay Z, and is seeking “to verify whether she is the biological mother”. We’re not experts, but we reckon we’d know about it if we’d pushed a baby out of our body using only our kegel muscles and the extreme power that comes from inhaling oxygen through a tube. We wouldn’t have to sue Beyoncé to know that thing about ourselves. Tina Seals, apparently, does.
Here’s the one thing that might go against Seals in this one, though: as Starcasm reports, she has previously filed suits against Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson (regarding Michael’s children: Prince, Paris and Blanket), and also Wills & Kate with regard to Prince George. So unless she did actually give birth to Prince, Paris, Blanket, Mariah Carey’s twins, and then gave birth to North West then, a month later, Prince George, it’s not exactly likely she is the biological mother of Blue Ivy, either. This is definitely what we have a robust legal system for, yes. This is not a waste of time at all.
