Security was on high alert after GUN SHOTS were heard outside Simon Cowell's home in Nice, France.
The X Factor contestants are currently filming (the often emotional) 'Judges Houses' round, which takes place in four hotspots across the globe and this year includes new mum Cheryl Tweedy and LIT Grime artistStormzy.
Simon and The X Factor crew and hopefuls were terrified when hearing loud gunshots from the ritzy-glitzy abode.
The loud noises turned out to be a farmer shooting rabbits in a nearby field, however everyone was still understandably shaken.
"Everyone was terrified. Several gunshots were heard in quick succession," a source told The Sun.
The insider continued, "There was already tight security because of the current climate.
"It turned out the shots had come from a farmer who was shooting rabbits in a field rather than anything more sinister."
BLIMEY. We are glad everyone is okay.
The X Factor continues on ITV1 tonight at 7.30pm
