Aww, we loved Andrea Faustini when he was on the X Factor last year almost as much as he loves pugs, so it’s a good thing he’s apparently making plans for his comeback!
The Italian singer, who finished third on the show, is said to have sparked a furious bidding war amongst record labels within the Sony group.
He has now jetted off to sunny Los Angeles in the good old U S of A to record an album full of original music for international release. YAY!
A source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Andrea signed a deal with RCA after weeks of discussions with various labels within Sony.
“Label bosses are confident he can be an international star with the right songs and are on the lookout for some of the world’s best writers to work with him.
“There may be one or two covers but the album will be predominately original material.
“In fact, some songs have already been submitted for him which are big, epic power ballads.”
Whoop! We can’t wait!
