Has X Factor’s Rylan Clark just got engaged to his boyfriend, Dan Neal?

EEEEEE and ARRRRRGGHHH and OMG WHAT SHALL WE WEAR??? news now, and Rylan Clark is reportedly over the moon having just got engaged to his partner Dan Neal.

The pair are thought to have taken their relationship to the next level during a trip to Paris over the weekend, with Dan proposing to the X Factor star during a sightseeing trip of the French capital.

According to the Star, a source said Rylan was completely shocked when Dan popped the question but “there was never any question about what his answer might be”.

“Rylan and Dan have always known marriage was on the cards,” the insider continued, “so being in the French capital, you might think Rylan saw it coming. “Rylan can’t wait to marry Dan. They’re just thrilled it’s official and they can get started with the best part – planning.”

N’aww. The pair met on the set of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side in 2013, which Rylan was co-hosting when Dan appeared in the BB house during its 14th series, and they’ve been together ever since.

They only went public when Emma Willis outed them on BBBOTS this July, innocently mentioning how people can meet on a reality show and find real love.

Former police officer Dan has one child already, and Rylan hasn’t made his wish for a family at all secret, saying in one interview: “Just because I’m gay doesn’t mean I can’t settle down and have kids.”
