Simon Cowell was forced to pull out of The X factor live shows this weekend after falling down the stairs at his home on Friday.
He’s now revealed the reason for his fall was low blood pressure, and he’s vowed to change his lifestyle for son Eric’s sake.
“Sometimes we get a reminder that we’re not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.
“They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out," he continued to The Sun.
“After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever.”
Simon missed both live shows this weekend due to his illness, and Alesha Dixon stood in his place representing the groups in last night’s show.
His act Rak-su were announced as winners of the night, but were beaten by Grace Davies in the prize fight (which has replaced the sing-off).
Grace was crowned the weekend winner, and won tickets to see P!nk in New York.
Talia Dean and Spencer Sutherland lost their places in the competition.
