X Factor 2013 winner Sam Bailey has given birth to her third child this morning, and both mother and baby are doing well.

The 37-year-old gave birth to a little girl at 10.41am, having been pregnant for what seemed like a HELLUVA long time.

Her publicity team tweeted the happy news to her followers, writing:

Sam, who won the ITV talent contest last December, announced that she and husband Craig were expecting another addition to their family in March this year – and shortly after confessed that she’d found out she was pregnant while taking a test in an Asda toilet. That’s one to tell the grandkids, eh?

The former prison officer said at the time: “I went and did it in the toilet while Craig was getting all the food.

“I came out and went, ‘Yep — I’m pregnant’. It wasn’t planned.”

She added: “When I got into the car I was really upset because I thought I’d let everyone at my management and the record label down.

“But they were really good about it. I was going to go on tour solo at the end of October – but I have managed to move it until January.”

It later turned out her baby daughter was conceived on New Year’s Eve just before Sam did a gig at London’s G.A.Y nightclub.

“We were staying in a hotel around the corner and I said: ‘Come on we have five minutes, let’s go!’ We’ve been married for ten years so there is no romance anymore,” she admitted.

Congratulations, guys!
