X-Men star Michael Fassbender and girlfriend Alicia Vikander have ‘broken up’

One of our fave *X-Men *hunks, Michael Fassbender is reportedly a single man again! Good news for us, bad news for his girlfriend of nine months, Alicia Vikander. Or maybe good news for Alicia too?

According to Us Weekly, the 38-year-old actor split from *The Danish Girl *star, 26, after having met on set of this year's *The Light Between Oceans. *

It was only in May the pair seemed right as rain at the Monaco Grand Prix posing for pictures.

The Irish hottie, who is worth an estimated $30 million (£19 million), is also famous for dating his co-stars. We would too.

From 2010 to 2011 Michael was in a relationship with his X-Men: First Class co-star Zoe Kravitz.

He later dated Shame co-star Nicole Beharie from 2012 to 2013.

And what is to blame for all these relationship downfalls? Ol' Mickey boy is a workaholic!

Speaking to GQ the Hollywood heartthrob said: "I'm kind of selfish with the hours that I put into the work.

"I think the longest relationship that I’ve been in was two years... I started doing this when I was 17, so I guess in my dating, adult life, that kind of covers it."

He added: "You become a lot more successful in terms of, like, talking to a girl. She's all of a sudden more interested in me. I know that, like, three years ago, she would’ve walked away after two sentences left my mouth."

Perhaps they do just *really *like you and it's not just because you're famous, Michael?
