Last week, singer Zak Abel teased a potential collaboration with Shawn Mendes and we completely LOST IT.
Speaking exclusively on heat's Big Night In, Zak revealed that he has slid into Shawn's DM's to hit him up with a music opportunity. Goalz, tbh.
Zak claims that sliding into people's DM's is "a very effective way to meet people. [I've slid into] Shawn Mendes' DM's. He did [respond], it was really nice. I was shocked!
"He tweeted me last year, out of the blue, just saying Zak Abel is unreal, everyone go and check him out, every song and video he's ever put out."

Zak added, "Obviously I was so humbled by it and so grateful but it was so out of the blue."
Zak then messaged Shawn saying "hey, I'd love to work with you sometime." He replied "yeah, I'm down." So yep guys, we may actually have a collaboration between Shawn and Zak coming in the near future. EEEK!

Fans were quick to comment on the collab, with one tweeting: "I want that collab, please! I think we all want."
Another wrote "WAIT. WHAT?!!!!!!! I'D DIE IF THEY JUST MADE A COLLAB LIKE PLEASE I NEED THAT!!!!!!!!".
