Zayn Malik accused of slating ex fiancée Perrie Edwards: ‘I enjoy conversation beyond what make up they’re wearing’

Little Mix fans have slammed Zayn Malik after an interview he gave to Billboard was released. In the chat, Zayn speaks about what he looks for in a woman and his comments haven’t gone down well.

“I enjoy an intellectual conversation as well, where someone can construct a sentence beyond what hair and makeup they're wearing, and talk about something political or about the world,” Zayn said. “I like an opinion.”

Ouch.

Now although Zayn didn’t directly refer to Perrie, her fans were quick to criticise him.

Perrie was Zayn’s longest relationship, with the pair breaking off their engagement in August last year after spending four years together.

“It's funny how Perrie was good enough for Zayn for 4 years and he proposed to her but now he can do nothing but slag her off to the press,” one angry fan tweeted. Another said: “Zayn Malik needs to grow up why is he still talking trash about Perrie Edwards when the relationship is O.V.E.R.” Very true.

Zayn also said he preferred a “fuller woman”, adding: “Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas - the nice areas.”

Now, seeing as he’s dating model Gigi Hadid who isn’t chunky in any areas, we can only imagine he may have been having a bit of an off day when he sat down for the chat.
