It's finally happening! Zayn Malik has announced his debut solo single and it's coming very soon - this Friday, in fact!
The former One Direction member posted the single's cover on his Twitter and Instagram this morning announcing the title and release date.
In a new interview with The Sunday Times, also released this morning, Zayn revealed there should be no confusion over the single's title - it's definitely all about sex - and includes lyrics about being “so pure, so dirty and raw”.
The 23-year-old said: “I think I’m pretty black and white about what it’s about.
“Everybody has sex, and it’s something people want hear about. It’s part of everybody’s life, a very BIG part of life! And you don’t want to sweep it under the carpet. It has to be talked about.”
In the same interview, Zayn continued to distance himself from his former bandmates, saying he's "not fussed" about staying in contact with them
However, after telling Billboard that none of them had been in touch since he quit the group the last year, he now claims he's had an email from one of his former bandmates - but wouldn't reveal if it was sent by Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan or Louis Tomlinson.
Whoever it was, Simon Cowell deffo isn't bothered!
