Zayn Malik restyles dodgy long hair as One Direction win at American Music Awards

One Direction are great and all that but we were really starting to worry about Zayn Malik.

In particular, his hair was starting to make our eyes sting slightly – it was getting longer and longer and it really was not ideal.

If you held the same opinion as us then you may be pleased to hear this news as the singer has had his locks restyled and it really is rather beautiful.

The boyband star flew out to America to join the rest of 1D last week after suffering from a bout of illness and he’s celebrated with a new 'do.

Hair stylist Lou Teasdale posted a snap of the former X Factor contestant on her Instagram page and he really does look rather handsome.

She captioned the picture: “#crybaby.”

Does this mean Zayn shed a tear at the loss of his messy hair? Really not something worth crying over, mate.

Zayn attended the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night where One Direction performed their song Night Changes.

The group took home the prize for Favourite Pop/Rock Band/Duo Group and the win appeared to make Zayn forget about any crying he’d done over his hair.

He tweeted: “What a night! You are the most incredible fans to ever exist thank you so so so much!!”
