We cannot WAIT

A few weeks ago, we brought you the outrageously exciting news that Zayn Malik had landed a MEGA Hollywood role.

The former One Direction lads are getting solo deals left right and centre (most recently Niall Horan), but Harry Styles and Zayn (always the edgiest of the group) have taken to the big and small screens too.

Harry has been livin’ it up and looking HAWT filming his movie Dunkirk, and Zayn has been made executive producer of a new NBC show about a fictional boyband. He’s teamed up with Law & Order’s Dick Wolf and his wife Noelle Wolf to create the programme, which documents the formation of a successful boyband called Boys.

He’s certainly playing to his strengths, then, eh?

Speaking about the project, Zayn said: "Dick Wolf is a legend and the opportunity to work with him and NBC to create a compelling drama series is awesome."

Noelle added to The Mirror: "We were intrigued by the synergistic potential that Zayn brings to the project."

Hopefully he’ll be too immersed in his new show to notice the release of the next Little Mix album, which is apparently going to tell all about his and Perrie Edwards’ break-up.

Oh dear.

This alarming yet exciting news was basically confirmed by bandmate Jesy Nelson.

She said: "I think it’s always easier to write about your experiences through music because more people can relate to them anyway.

"It is a lot more mature, this album. There’s a lot of things that have been said that perhaps nobody has heard yet, if you know what I mean," she told The Sun.

When asked for deets, she said: "I think it’s pretty obvious. I think all the songs are very relatable to girls, and our fan base in general."

And we expect there’ll be one from Taylor Swift about Tom Hiddleston too, as they've reportedly split after three months.
