Zayn Malik has lost 50,000 followers since Naughty Boy released his new single demo

Poor old Zayn Malik – first of all he had loads of hassle in Thailand from pesky girls, then he quit One Direction, AND NOW he’s gone and lost himself 50,000 Twitter followers.

Although “lose” is kind of romanticising it – like the time we left our sheepskin-lined gloves on the train (we’re hoping they went to a good home, sob).

No, Zayn has actually offended people so badly with his new track with Naughty Boy that people have pressed UNFOLLOW on Twitter. 50k worth of people. That’s a lot.

50,000 people live in Melton, in Leicestershire, as well as Christchurch in Dorset. That's loads.

We doubt Zayn’s THAT fussed, though – he’s still got 14.6 million followers. This is just a drop in the ocean to him.

Last night Naughty Boy took down the offending track, I Won’t Mind, from Soundcloud (which isn’t offensive at all, but that’s Directioners for you).

The jam (did we just say jam? Yes, we did) had folky vibes but now everyone can rest easy as it’s been deleted, as if it never existed at all.

Louis Tomlinson wasn’t a fan of the new music either, tweeting: "Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal, seriously how f***ing old are you ? Grow up! #masterofallwisdom".
