What's the worst thing that can happen between exes? Bumping into each other on a night out? Sharing the same friendship group? Having a holiday booked together you're gonna lose a shit load of money on?
NOPE, it's having a similar release date for your respective autobiographies.
Obviously us regular people would never be in anything remotely resembling that situation, but it's exactly the one that Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards have found themselves in.
We yesterday brought you the very exciting news that Zayn was planning a tell-all book about his transition from boy who couldn't dance at The X Factor bootcamp to international SUPERSTAR (will he be talking about Steph Davis tho?), and Little Mix's autobiography is set to come out 11 DAYS AFTER.
Crikey.

That's a sales competition if ever we heard one.
We've got both on our Christmas list, so we remain impartial.
The Little Mix book is said to be spilling the beans about the "highs and lows" of their five years together. And we're guessing Zayn dumping Perrie ahead of their American tour might count as a low.
Zayn's book is titled Zayn (imaginative), and will reportedly include collections of personal stories, never-before-seen photos, notes, drawings and thoughts.
He writes in the opening pages: "I'm going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says."
We cannot WAIT.
Though we expect they'll have vastly different target audiences.
Zayn's girlfriend Gigi Hadid has meanwhile thrown some mega shade his ex Perrie Edwards' way.

When asked in an interview with ES Magaazine what most attracted her to Zayn, she replied: "I would say his brain. For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work and that is really important.

"We cook a lot together and do art together and we’re each other’s best friends. We both feel we can talk about anything and learn a lot from one another."
Blimey.
